myUCLAhealth is a feature of CareConnect for patients. The biggest impact for CareConnect users in outpatient practices will be in the InBasket, where patient messages will be sent and received. All training is already integrated in your ambulatory CareConnect curriculum.
To ensure that your physicians are set up properly to receive patient medical advice requests, prescription renewal/refill requests, and appointment requests via MyChart, you must contact your CareConnect Application Coordinator for assistance. This individual will help you determine the best routing that will suit the needs of the physicians and the clinic. Most clinics utilize pools equipped with one or more people to handle both medical advice requests and prescription renewal/refill quests and a separate pool to handle appointment requests. Your CareConnect Application Coordinator can further explain how pools work
Approximately 90% of UCLA Health clinics utilize ClientTell, a top vendor for automated patient appointment reminders in the healthcare industry. We encourage practice managers to contact ClientTell Support line 877-244-9178 to request appointment reminder services.
