My role is to be a resource to our front line ambulatory practice staff, managers, directors, and leadership in all activities related to UCLA Health's EHR. I oversee development, implementation, standardization, adoption, and support services related to CareConnect and other technology used for Ambulatory Operations. When I'm not working, I love to travel and eat (not cook) delicious food. Please share your restaurant recommendations with me!
I'm always happy to support new advancements in our patient portal. I've happily been a member of the UCLA Health community for a year now and come to the organization with a masters in Organizational Change Management and International Affairs. I am excited to mention I am an avid cyclist as well as devoted to community service work. I hope to grow with our amazing organization in optimizing the patient experience.
I joined UCLA in 2011 and have been with the EHR team since 2014. As the Data Analyst of our team, I use the information collected by our EHR system to identify trends and assess data quality. I also work closely with the CareConnect Meaningful Use team to coordinate yearly Medicare/Medi-Cal attestation efforts. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and catching up on my favorite TV shows including Suits, Scandal and The Mindy Project.
I've worked cohesively on the myUCLAhealth Project Team for two years and have been with UCLA Health since 2012. My role is to ensure patients/staff/physicians and our 24-hour Help Desk are kept abreast of new feature functionality. When I'm not at work, I'm still working as a volunteer for a nonprofit organization that has an after school program working with youth in LAUSD. When I do have time, my husband and I enjoy the movies, working out and a good road trip.
